Hello. Chris Cashion told me about your company and said you probably have what I want.
I want to run a basic management system for my nissan vg33e. It has crank position sensor. Maf. distributor with integrated coil and cam sensor. And I’d like to run some kind of closed loop fuel system running off a wideband 02 sensor.
Thank you for your time.
The best way to get ahold of us is through facebook messenger @speedyefi, the next best way to get ahold of us is through the email address at the bottom of this page, and the slowest way would be to comment on the website.
You could pretty easily wire up your VG30 to our fishdog board with the 8ft harness, removing all of the factory BS.
Or you could use the 2ft harness and wire it straight to the factory connector location, which would save you the hassle of removing the intake manifold.
Or you can message us and we can build you a PNP unit. I believe we have one of the ECU headers in house to build a PNP that connects directly to the stock ECU header.
Any way you do it, you can delete your MAF, we don’t use it.
Can you build a plug and play harness for an 04 Impreza 2.5rs
We currently don’t have the manpower to build custom pnp’s. But with that said, we can sell you the parts to build one for yourself, including the ECU header, a 3d printed case for the ecu header, a fishdog and 2ft harness.
very interested in the product, and would really like to purchase but i am trying to figure out how much support (if any) or what kind of functionality/tuneability is available for the older Audi 2.3(7a) or the 2.2L turbo (AAN/URS4) I5 DOHC engine . is there a possibility of PNP?
Send us an email to chris@speedyefi.com or isaac@speedyefi.com and we will get you sorted out.

HELLO, I INSTALLED A STOCK KO3 TURBO FROM A 2000 AUDI 2.0L A4 ONTO A 93 TOYOTA PASEO 5EFE 1.5L AUTO / TRANS AND ITS MAKING OVER 17PSI. I AM LOOKING FOR A PNP ECU TO CONTROL ENGINE AND TRANS THAT HAS SOLENOIDS. STOCK IGNITION IS DIST WITH 2 PICK-UP COILS, 1 FOR CRANK POSITION AND 1 FOR RPM ( I THINK THERE SINGLE PULSE PER REV ). ALSO THINK IT WOULD BE GOOD IDEA TO ADD DETONATION SENSOR/ERS AND CONFIG FOR CLOSED LOOP UNDER BOOST WHAT LEVEL OF PROGRAMMING WOULD THIS COME WITH. THE FACTORY ECU CONNECTOR IS ONE OF THE ONES IN PICS I GOT FROM EBAY BUT HAVEN,T CONFIRMED IT YET. CAN YOU SUPPLY THIS ASSEMBLED OR IN KIT FORM AND WHAT WOULD THE PRICE BE WITH CASE , GOOD END PLATES ECT ( UNLESS YOU THINK IT WILL FIT INTO THE FACTORY CASE ) PLUS SHIPPING TO 12926 THE SHELL CENTER 423 TYEE DR POINT ROBERTS, WASHINGTON 98281 USA. REGARDS DALE
Not going to happen.
Nobody makes a trans controller for that car PNP. And very few companies sell a system that is capable of controlling it. We don’t do either.
Manual swap and fishdog + denso76 is the only route forward if you want to run one of our ecus. The prices of our units are updated continuously on our webstore. http://speedyefi.com/shop
Okay I understand somewhat of what you’re saying solenoid connections go to factory see you now what would happen if I use your fish dog what’s a 76 pin header to the Tran controls and I take it that would operate the engine no problem just need to program it would have come pre-programmed of any kind I understand Idol program is installed is there more than idle program available thank you Dale Coombs
As per my last reply,
Throw the automatic in the trash, and then we’ll talk.
I’m old enough with enough experience and have the balls to attempt this. From what I’ve read and understand solenoids just need an electrical signal to shift the gears maybe I don’t need a computer to do this just thought it would help programming and be able to raise line pressure for firmer more positive shift. If you can’t help me with the transmission what about the engine management I’m sure you can still do that and provide me with enough parts so I or you can make an ECU to utilize my factory computer wiring harness connector is that correct. If so what about the programming even if it’s just the most basic or Nothing at All thank you. Dale
You need to do a whole lot more research first. Start with what signals the TCU needs, then see if they can be had without the stock ecu in place.
I’m working on a Subaru project. I want to install a 1997 2.5, DOHC non turbo with a manual five speed, into a 1992 Legacy Wagon. It has a 2.2 in it now. How can I get the engine to connect to the ECU and increase performance
You have a lot of options that you will need to decide before that question is answerable. A fishdog and 8ft wires it from scratch. A fishdog, 2ft, and denso76 breakout card makes a plug and play if you use the ’92 harness.
Up until now… I thought megasquirt was the only game in town. I am building a turbo 2.3 sohc ford. I will be using crank trigger and ford coil on plug ignition. Will this system support my set up?
Thanks
Do you mean a 36-1 crank wheel? if so, it is natively supported. For smart COPs nothing else is needed, for dumb COPs you will need and external igniter.
I’m just now scratching the surface with this, but basically with enough wiring and tuning know-how I could get this to work with D series Honda with VTEC, 2JZ-GE NA-T, and 1UZ with VVTi? I was originally looking at using a Hondata S300 V3 but now that I found this, I’m reconsidering.
Yes! With a few settings changes you could have our fishdog ecu run all three of those engines.
Looking for a cheap alternative stand alone ecu for my 1990 talon tsi. Really want to increase injector size, more boost, launch control, maybe E85 in the future. I just started researching speediuno. Not sure what hardware I would need to purchase to work for my application.
Are you looking for something to wire up to reduce engine bay clutter? If you are, fishdog and 8ft would probably be your best bet.
If you’re looking for something cheap and effective, fishdog and 2ft, then cut out the ecu and wire it directly up to the factory wiring.
If youre looking for something clean and simple, you’ll probably want to find a junkyard ecu and cut the header out of it, then solder the pins it to the fishdog ecu harness. We aren’t currently able to source the ecu header for that car otherwise we would have it in our webstore.

Hello, I just ordered the 90-93 Miata ECU and the COP kit yesterday. I have not had this long overdue project on the road as of yet due to first making the mistake of buying a POS Emanage Ultimate that was of no help at all, then a Track Dog fuel card and stock ECU that I gave up on. I am tired of screwing around spending senseless $$ on crap. I hope I have come to the right place to solve all issues and get this project churning! My question is do you have the basic maps to get me going ? I have vast mechanical skills but a total newbie when it comes to standalone ECU tuning. My current set up is a 1.6 with Jackson Racing Supercharger running smallest pulley for max PSI, Header, 320cc injectors, water/methanol injection for intake cooling/ detonation prevention, lightened flywheel, MAF/AFM delete , wideband and narrow band and other goodies. All help greatly appreciated! Thanks, Nick
The ecu comes with firmware and a base tune for a stock motor pre loaded. It will need tuned for your car, and adjustments made.

Hi guys
I have a 96’ VS Clubsport 5.0 with stock Delco in place, and I’m in the process of finding a decent pnp piggyback or stand alone ecu and wondering if you guys can help me out at all?
It’ll have a hefty stroker engine with decent compression so need something reliable, I will be using the stock 4l60e trans tho built so don’t know if that makes it a no go or not, as the auto delco is a bitch to work around, so happy to either pnp or full stand alone if you can handle the auto? I would be happy to replace the electronic box with a 4l60 if that helps as I need to have it built anyways and waiting to see what can be done tubing wise before I make a commitment!
Any help or advice would be much appreciated,
Cheers Patrick
A fishdog ecu is probably going to be your best bet. If you’re doing a piggyback, put in the order notes that it is for a piggyback and we’ll remove the jumpers for the temp sensor pullups so you don’t have to.
If you’re doing a piggyback, the 4l60e will be fine controlled by the factory ecu/tcu, but if you want to take full control of the engine and trans, you’ll have to swap to a -e since we don’t currently offer any sort of electronic TCU.
Hi when will the plug play for 1.6 miata be available again?
Let me take inventory and update stock. Expect results in a few hours.
Do I need a cam sensor as well as the crank sensor?
That all depends on what trigger pattern you are planning to use.
For wasted spark/paired injectors:
you can use a missing tooth crank wheel alone,
a missing tooth cam wheel alone,
or dual wheel.
For sequential:
you can use a missing tooth cam wheel,
or dual wheel (single tooth cam reset)

Good day sir, was hoping you could give me some quick info on setting up my launch control and boost control on my 1991 na 1.6 roadster /miata it’s a right hand drive from the Japaneese market
so i’m just making sure all the wiring is the same ,I already have it running on a plug n play from speedyefi just wanted to know if i have to do anything with the wiring or inside the ecu to get any of
those 2 features to work ,I already know how to set them up in tuner studio but not sure if the wiring needs to be modified to get them to work , thx in advance .
If your mainboard is v1.3 or newer, the boost control is already routed to the purge valve pin in the harness. if it is older you will need to run a jumper wire from the “boost” pad inside the ecu to whatever pin you wish to use.
Launch control is wired up in all versions, but we encounter a lot of na6s with bad clutch switches, so that is typically our first check.
I have only ever seen one pinout/service manual for na6, so I am assuming the JDM harness is the same as USDM/AUDM
Thanks much for all your help , have a great day .
Can this ECU be configured for throttle fly bi wire?
The hardware is there for stepper or PWM control, but the code is not, for liability reasons. There is third party code that runs DBW, but that would all be up to you.
hi just bought a 94-95 NA8 miata plug and play ECU kit. i want to know when i would get because i live in the us
We ship everything 2day priority mail. current processing times are on the website splash screen.
Hello, is this capable of running a 5 cylinder engine since they are pair injectors? It’s a 2.5l jetta 2006 mk5 manual with a maf sensor.
If you do some searching in the main Speeduino FB groups and forums, you will find many writeups for 5cyl setup. I am not familiar with VW electronics, but if it is drive by wire, or canbus gauges you will have a fair bit of work ahead of you.
