How to check the firmware version on your SpeedyEFI speeduino.

How to check the firmware version on your SpeedyEFI speeduino.
Step 1. Download and install and open the Arduino software from Arduino.cc (it’s free)

Step 2. In the Tools dropdown menu, change the COM port to whichever one your Speedy showed up as. (usually it’s COM4-10, COM1 is the default for Windows, don’t worry about COM1)

Step 3. In the Tools dropdown menu, open the Serial Monitor. You’ll see a blank bar across the top, with a “SEND” button next to it. Type a capital S, and click send. In the lower box you should see it display something to the effect of “Speeduino082018”. The first two numbers are the month code, and the last two or four are the year.

You may need to change the BAUD rate in the bottom right hand corner of the window to 115200.

  1. Need driver information for the Meag 2560 boards. Unable to locate the correct
driver.. What Version of arduino is to be used with the current coards. My order
from you was a month or so ago…

    Thankx

    1. Download the Arduino IDE from arduino.cc
All of the drivers are pre packaged with it.

  2. Is this all the same process for the 99-00 speedy efi ecus I have one sitting on my desk because I keep looking and looking for forums even on the ecu and I can’t find any. I know it’s new but having some 99-00 forums or stuff posted on your blog would very much be appreciated.

    1. All of our ecus ship with firmware and tune pre loaded. Tunerstudio will autodetect the firmware if you ask it to.
